Italian Greyhound

The Italian Greyhound is the smaller variant of the larger Greyhound. These playful little dogs weigh no more than 15 pounds and are very affectionate. They’d spend all of their time in someone’s lap or in their bed if they could. These are some of the most clingy of Velcro dog breeds!

Since Italian Greyhounds are extremely fast and have a powerful prey drive, they must always be kept on a leash or in a fenced-in area. Even their intense affection for their owner can’t cope with the innate desire to chase something tiny and fluffy.

Vizsla

The Hungarian Vizsla is known as the ultimate Velcro dog because it likes to tie itself to a person and never let go. They are an adventurous dog breed that thrives when they can spend time outdoors with their favorite people.

French Bulldogs make outstanding family dogs and love meeting new people. Their huge bat ears make them irresistibly adorable, and their energetic personalities seal the deal.

Shetland Sheepdog

The Shetland Sheepdog, an obedient herding dog, has always been bred to work closely with humans. They arose in remote areas of Scotland, where their herding abilities were prized. Farmers preferred them because their small size made them easier to feed than larger herding breeds.

The little athletic dogs continued to steal hearts all over the world as they became more popular. Shelties are amongst clingy dog breeds that enjoy spending time with humans, even though they are qualified to herd.
